D. Wooden Spoons Class  $35.00             Karen Henderson     St. Francis, MN

Carving usable spoons. Students will curve usable eating and serving spoons from various hardwoods. What is carved in green (wet) so basic hand tools can be used. No special tools needed. H. Flat Plain Lumber Jack Class         $20.00             Lee Olson                   Crystal, MN

Walking lumber jack is designed by a carving of Swedish carver Oscar Sjorgen and is 8” tall. He will carry an axe and backpack. Snowshoes can be added. Tools needed are knife, small chisels. General Notes of Importance and Interest

Check in – 8:00 am both days. Brief meeting at 8:30 am. Classes – 9:00 am, lunch at noon, resume at 1:00 pm, continues till 5:00 pm – Saturday and 3:00 pm Sunday. There will be no use power tools, VFW has not dust removing equipment. All classes are in the same room. No class changes without event coordinator’s/instructor’s approval.

Class is first come, first served, and determined by postmark date. If all classes are filled, we will contact the instructor

Class desired, in order of preference: 

Cancellation – After September 15, 2023, there will be a $20.00 charge for anyone dropping out of the seminar. After September 15, 2023, there will be no refund. If you must cancel, please notify Tom Shelton at 763-213-4178 or tbshel@comcast.net.
